New Go-Live #6 video overviews now available
New videos detailing features specific to Epic@UNC coming with Go-Live #6 are now available for the following groups: inpatient, ambulatory, anesthesia, labs, cardiology, emergency department, and surgery services.

The "Recipient Lookup" screen was updated Sept. 13 in Epic@UNC so the "Near" field defaulted to "Home." As of Sept. 21, this default of "Home" has been removed and will no longer default in the "Near" field.

Representatives from Surgery, cardiology and Anesthesia have worked together in consultation with the Legal Department to revise the patient code status in the OR as reflected on the patient header. The next phase of this project will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 28, with updates to Post-Op Order Sets for multiple specialties. ​

The time will 'spring forward' from 1:59 to 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 12. Review these details to avoid any issues with equipment and Epic@UNC documentation. And remember that there is a planned Epic@UNC downtime scheduled from 1:30 a.m. - 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 12.
