Though we have an information exchange already in place with the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the VA cannot share health information unless a veteran-signed authorization form (VA Form 10-0484) is on file with the VA. To help make data in Epic@UNC more useful for providers, a new self-service reporting tool called 'SlicerDicer' is now available that offers providers intuitive and customizable options to explore data, spot trends and search for patients who meet specified criteria.
