The Children's Research Institute presents its February 2020 speaker, Stephanie Davis, MD, for her talk, "Unmasking the Face of Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia." Dr. Davis is a world-renown expert in pediatric pulmonology, with extensive expertise in infant and preschool lung function testing, who has been a member of many national and international consensus groups responsible for establishing guidelines for the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of infants and children with pediatric respiratory disease.

Healthy Eating In Practice 2018 Conference
Healthy Eating in Practice is a hands-on CME conference for practitioners, researchers, and influencers, focused on changing the culture of healthcare to better support healthy eating behaviors, particularly in children and families, and prevent chronic diet-related diseases. Grounded in experiential learning, this national conference will equip attendees to address the root causes of these chronic diseases. Through participatory workshops (including hands-on cooking instruction), farm field trips, peer learning, and panels and presentations from leading practitioners, researchers, and policy experts, attendees will gain practical skills and approaches that work in day-to-day life. Several UNC School of Medicine faculty will be presenting, as well as several members of the NC Food and Healthcare Intersections group.

Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online telehealth lecture with Young Whang, MD, PhD. Young Whang, MD, from the UNC Lineberger Genitourinary Oncology group will describe relevant updates in systemic therapy for prostate cancers for health care providers throughout the state of North Carolina. Additional topical management considerations or recommendations for this patient population may also be presented.
