School of Medicine IT Webex Clinic: Tuesday, January 29
School of Medicine IT recently launched a new Webex video conferencing service for School of Medicine faculty, staff, and students and will be hosting Webex Clinics throughout the year. The next one will be in Bondurant 2020 on Tuesday, January 29 at 2 p.m. They will also try to answer and address any questions or specific Webex needs you may have.

Voice Over IP (VoIP) Phone Transition Scheduled for MacNider and Old Clinic
VoIP phones are being installed in MacNider and Old Clinic but will not be active until September. Please make sure your VoIP phone remains plugged in to the wall. There is the potential for a short service outage as early as the night prior to and the entire day of the transition.

"Spear Phishing" attack targets School of Medicine
Recently, members of the UNC School of Medicine community have been targeted in an email scam known as “spear phishing.” This form of phishing is especially dangerous because messages are tailored to the recipient and appear to be from a trusted source.
