Terrace Café closed for renovations starting Aug. 18
In order to do some much-needed kitchen renovations, the Terrace Café will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, and reopen at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug 21. The Overlook and Corner Café will operate on extended hours during the renovation.

Pizza delivery at UNC Hospitals begins July 17
Nutrition and Food Services is excited to announce that starting on July 17, 2017, we will trial a new Pizza Delivery program at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. The program will run Monday - Friday from 1 – 9 p.m. and will offer Overlook New York style pizza pies, garden salads and Caesar salads, along with a variety of 20 oz. bottle beverages.

Ten-year study shows steady increase in type 1, 2 diabetes in U.S. youth
The study found there was an average of 1.8 percent increase each year of youth with newly-diagnosed type 1 diabetes and an average of 4.8 percent per year increase of newly-diagnosed type 2 diabetes cases among the same population.

Overlook Cafe closed Dec. 13 and 14
The Overlook Café will be closed Dec. 13 – 14 to help support the Holiday Celebration that will take place from 1 - 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14. It will reopen and return to normal operating hours on Friday, Dec. 15. Nutrition and Food Services would like to thank you for your continued support of their retail venues.
