Transportation Impacts of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parade
The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon. Roads along the parade route will be closed during that time. Please plan accordingly.

UNC Football Home Game Sept. 22
UNC will face Pittsburgh at 12:20 p.m. on Sept. 22. Traffic will be heavy on campus for several hours before and after the game. Please plan accordingly.

Every year, the university partners with the Town of Chapel Hill to create a Halloween celebration with the goal of having a fun and safe locally hosted and attended event. This event is often very large and can affect traffic and parking throughout Chapel Hill. Late Night with Roy - Expected Traffic Impacts
The University will hold its 17th annual "Late Night with Roy" basketball season kickoff event September 27 at the Dean Smith Center. The event will begin at 8 p.m. but heavy traffic should be expected for several hours leading up to the event.

Chapel Hill Transit's Saturday V Route Detoured from 8:45 a.m. to 9:14 a.m.
Chapel Hill Transit will detour the Saturday V route from 8:45 a.m. to 9:14 a.m. on March 16, 2019, due to the PSF 5K For Education Run/Walk beginning at 9 a.m. on East Franklin Street. The Saturday V route will be detoured along Cameron Avenue and will not serve the bus stops along Franklin Street during this time.

Friday Center Park and Ride Temporary Bus Stop Closure Begins Monday, March 18
Due to the repair and repaving of the bus loop at the Friday Center park and ride lot, Chapel Hill Transit will detour the FCX route beginning Monday, March 18.

Parking and transportation impacts of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
The University will be closed on Monday Jan. 15, 2018, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. All Park & Ride permit holders and GoPass users will be allowed to park in the S11 parking lots during this time period. On-campus parking permit holders are encouraged to continue to park in their assigned zones. UNC Hospitals shuttles will operate on a normal schedule.
