ISD’s Leanovations experiments with Open Space event
On the afternoon of Friday, Aug. 7, the Leanovations program of the Information Services Division (ISD) experimented with UNC Health Care’s first ever Open Space event.

Effective Friday, Oct. 16, at 1 p.m., the Telecom Office Main Number, 984-974-2354, will begin forwarding calls to the ISD Service Desk, which will assume responsibility for triaging telecom-related issues and service requests.

MacNider and Old Clinic Voice Over IP (VoIP) Phone Transition Scheduled for Friday, September 4
New VoIP phones recently installed in MacNider and Old Clinic will be activated Friday, September 4. Please make sure your VoIP phone remains plugged in to the wall. There is the potential for a short service outage as early as the night prior to and the entire day of the transition.

Don't lose your internet access on March 5!
OIS, together with ITS, will be activating Network Access Control (NAC) in Bondurant Hall, CIDD, GCRC, Hospital/LIS, MBRB, Neonatal, NSRB, and Taylor Hall on Monday, March 5. I. If prompted, please follow the steps to download and install the NAC agent onto your computer to get access to the network.

PtWorks Downtime - Nov. 14 at 1:30 p.m.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, at 1:30 p.m., PtWorks will be down for one hour to complete server maintenance. Registrars can use PtWorks Downtime app to print armbands and labels.
