Action Required: Proposed Revisions to Medical Staff Bylaws
All faculty should have received an email on April 25, 2019, encouraging them to vote on proposed changes to UNC's Medical Staff Bylaws. The voting deadline is May 10.

Drop-in photo session for School of Medicine faculty and UNC Health Care APPs
There will be a free drop-in photography session for UNC School of Medicine faculty members and UNC Health Care advanced practice providers (AuDs, CRNAs, CNMs, CNSs, CPPs, LCSWs, NPs, OTs, PTs, PAs and SLPs) only in July. Non-faculty advanced practice providers must provide direct, clinical patient care in the outpatient setting in order to be photographed. As always, all UNC School of Medicine faculty members are welcome to attend. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate residents, fellows, program directors or other staff members at this session.

Five-year Review of Charles Jennette, Chair of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
An ad hoc committee has been appointed to undertake a routine review of the leadership provided by Charles Jennette, MD, Chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The five-year review is a standard procedure of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The committee invites your written or verbal comments, suggestions and relevant information. The review will take place on January 12, 2016.

Robert H. Wilkins, MD, who served as the director of academics for the Department of Neurosurgery, passed away on Friday, March 31.

James Scatliff: A half century in the classroom
The Department of Radiology will host a memorial service to celebrate the life of Dr. Scatliff on Saturday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m. The service will be held in the Medical Biomolecular Research Building (MBRB) Auditorium. Parking is available at the Ambulatory Care Center or in the "S6" parking spaces located along Mason Farm Road.
