2020 Center for Faculty Excellence Faculty Showcase on Teaching

Bruce Cairns, Professor of Surgery, has worn many hats: Navy doctor, disaster planner and responder, burn surgeon, director of the N.C. Jaycee Burn Center, School of Medicine representative in UNC faculty governance, to name a few. This year he’s running for UNC Faculty Chair.

Academy of Educators Faculty Curriculum Development
"Mentoring Junior Faculty: More than just a wing and a prayer" will be presented by Drs. Susan Girdler and Brad Gaynes from the Department of Psychiatry, on Feb. 21 at 4:30 p.m. in MacNider 321. Snacks provided. The second session will be held on Feb. 23 at noon in Bondurant G030. Lunch for the first 20 attendees.
