April’s Employee Engagement theme is Effective Communication. This theme is part of a new Employee Engagement effort that includes an intranet site where engagement resources will be added each month. These resources will include huddle topics, tip sheets and inspirational videos. You can also find information about the upcoming Workforce Engagement Survey, which begins on May 14.

DUO two-step verification required to access WebEx starting March 29
Starting on March 29, 2018, to enhance our information security, DUO 'two-Step Verification' will be required when accessing UNC Health Care WebEx sites remotely. You will still be able to login normally while at work (including from UNC School of Medicine offices).

Workforce Engagement Survey: May 14 - June 4

​​Starting Monday, March 19, three UNC Health Care clinics will begin a pilot of making ‘Open Notes’ of patients clinic visits available via My UNC Chart​. Currently, providers have the option to make an outpatient visit note available via My UNC Chart – in these pilot clinics, the new default is that progress notes will be made available to the patient.

Current Citrix site deactivated Feb. 19; update bookmarks to reference ‘MyApps’
Starting Feb. 19, 2018, all remote access users will be required to use MyApps (at https://myapps.unch.unc.edu) and the current Citrix site (https://csg.unch.unc.edu) will be decommissioned.
