This week's edition features Allison Mathews, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Social Medicine within the UNC Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases. Her research focuses on the use of crowdsourcing to learn how to better engage communities about the social and ethical implications of HIV cure clinical trials, HIV testing, and other health services.

UNC Children’s Hospital now offers families web cams of NCCC babies

On Christmas Day, WNCN featured a story on the "Family Time" program at UNC Children's, which allows parents with children in the Newborn Critical Care Center to see them on a live video feed 24 hours a day.
