Runge named executive vice president for medical affairs at University of Michigan
Marschall S. Runge, M.D., Ph.D., executive dean for the UNC School of Medicine and chair of the Department of Medicine, has been named executive vice president for medical affairs at the University of Michigan, pending approval by the University of Michigan’s Board of Regents.

News from the HR Roundtable
Beginning in 2015, UNC Health Care will offer staff and physicians of non-State affiliates (i.e. Rex Healthcare, High Point Regional, Chatham, etc.) a new comprehensive and cost-effective health benefits package that includes the election of health, vision and dental plans. The health benefits package will save staff and UNC Health Care $6 million and is one of our first steps toward integrating as a System. State employees at UNC Health Care will remain on the State Health Plan.
