Medical and Surgical Oncology lectures offer CNE, ASRT, and CME continuing education credit (pending approval) for eligible participants. We invite anyone interested to view our lectures. Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online telehealth lecture with Lauren Lux, LCSW. Adolescents and Young Adult living with cancer have unique medical and psychosocial needs. The recognition of these needs has created a new field of study in practice in the oncology world. As such many institutions are developing multidisciplinary teams to address AYA needs. However, you don't need a huge budget or a new program to make an impact with this age group. We will establish the age specific needs of this group and discuss some simple changes to make in your day to day practice that will help you meet your AYA patients' needs.

2019 Triangle Imaging Symposium
The 2019 Triangle Imaging Symposium at UNC BRIC, will feature lectures by speakers from Johns Hopkins, UNC, Duke, NCSU and Wake Forest University and is open to the entire scientific community. This year, a broad spectrum of topics will be covered, from molecular and cellular imaging with MRI, to simple and cheap hyper polarization techniques that can boost MR sensitivity by several orders of magnitude, to computational tools for large-scale brain network, to advanced ultrasound methodologies for tissue characterization.
