At handoff/shift change, nurses should review your Worklist to check for overdue tasks not completed on a previous shift by clicking the yellow “Overdue” button in your nursing Worklist. This report now lists all overdue tasks from the past five days (vs 24 hours previously).

Update to infant weight, height display in Epic@UNC
Beginning June 14, 2016, the weight and height for infants ages 0 to 389 days will be displayed in a standard format across Epic@UNC (regardless of department). Weights will be displayed as Grams/Lbs & Ounces. Length will be displayed as Cm/Inches.

When a patient is transported off the unit, the inpatient nurse should document in flowsheets about the transport. Then a 'Ticket to Ride' is printed to accompany the patient. In a Lunch and Learn WebEx at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 9, we will review how to complete this documentation and then print the ticket to ride.
