Carolina Antimicrobial Stewardship Program leads remdesivir roll-out across UNC Health hospitals
UNC Medical Center was among the first hospitals to receive a batch of the first proven treatment for COVID-19 via the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. The Carolina Antimicrobial Stewardship Program team members are overseeing a painstaking process of making a new treatment available to hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

A breath of fresh air: Reminder about the UNC Hospitals tobacco policy
UNC Health Care is a tobacco-free environment. To help encourage this, our tobacco-free policy (ADMIN 0164) states that any employees using tobacco products on UNC Medical Center properties – whether they are clocked-out or not – will be subject to the next step in the corrective action progression.

Ground Floor Corridor Closed for Elevator Lobby Refurbishment Project
