Fischer on Ebola
West Africa continues to experience a deadly Ebola virus outbreak. In May/June, Dr. William Fischer II, a pulmonologist and critical care physician with the UNC School of Medicine, worked in an isolation area in Guinea as part of a team from Doctors without Borders after being recruited by the World Health Organization.
