Construction for the S1 Parking Deck is scheduled to begin in late February 2020. S1 permits will be honored in the Craige Deck when construction begins. Permit holders will be notified prior to the start of construction.

Manning Drive Repaving Project: Dec. 16 - 18
OWASA is scheduled to repave Manning Drive between 15/501 and Ridge Rd. from Dec. 16 - 18, weather dependent, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day. This project will involve shifting the traffic pattern to accommodate paving crews and may cause delays on Manning. If you are traveling to or from the hospital during this project, please account for possible traffic delays and consider finding an alternate route.

The UNC Men’s Basketball Season officially begins Friday evening, Nov. 1, 2019 with an exhibition game in the Dean E. Smith Center. To support game operations, several parking areas within the S11 Bowles Lot, the S11 Manning “upper” Lot and Williamson Drive will be pre-blocked on the nights preceding home games throughout the season. Parking in those blocked areas will be prohibited throughout the game day beginning 5 a.m. that morning through the end of event egress. Find more information here.

OWASA must complete work to replace a utility vault cover on West Drive that will prevent access into the Cardinal Deck from Thursday, Oct. 24 at 10 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 a.m. Affected PD permit holders may park in the Dogwood Deck during this timeframe.

Late Night with Roy - Expected Traffic Impacts
The University will hold its 17th annual "Late Night with Roy" basketball season kickoff event September 27 at the Dean Smith Center. The event will begin at 8 p.m. but heavy traffic should be expected for several hours leading up to the event.

Parking Impacts of Saturday's Football Game
Due to UNC Football game day operations, several lots on campus, including “S1” Public Safety Lot will be reserved for game day permits only. All vehicles remaining in the permit portion of the lot after 8 a.m. on game day (including state vehicles) and not displaying a proper game day permit will be relocated at the owner’s expense.Hospital employees reporting to work and having an official hospital ID may park in the Dogwood Deck without being charged on Saturday.
