“Airwaves and Educators” podcast launches with co-host Janelle Bludorn
Janelle Bludorn, PA-C and a clinical assistant professor in Physician Assistant Studies, has launched a podcast alongside the PA colleagues, titled "Airwaves and Educators." The medical education podcast focuses on physician assistant education and features the voices of three co-hosts to provide insight into scenarios a PA educator might encounter.

Allied Health Science receives grant for early literacy research
The UNC Department of Allied Health Sciences received a $3.3 million grant to establish a stronger scientific foundation for educational practice within early literacy. Stephen Hooper, PhD, the Department of Allied Health Sciences Associate Dean and Chair, will serve as principal investigator of the project.
