Beware of ongoing spearphishing campaign
For the past few weeks, a large spearphishing campaign (e.g., a hacker/scam email that appears to be from an individual/business you know) has been underway, mainly targeting employees in Human Resources and Finance/Payroll. Given the success of this campaign at other large organizations, we expect similar campaigns to follow. Review the actions required if you receive a spearphishing message.

Building Change to Voice Over IP (VOIP) project
As a result of issues found during the initial building surveys, the following buildings will NOT be part of the phone migration scheduled for November 2013: MacNider, Old Clinic, and Lineberger. Each of them will require some engineering work before they can be migrated (see details below). Once the engineering work is complete, the buildings will be put back in rotation for migration. The deadline for getting all buildings on campus migrated is the end of 2014.
