On Christmas Day, WNCN featured a story on the "Family Time" program at UNC Children's, which allows parents with children in the Newborn Critical Care Center to see them on a live video feed 24 hours a day. Lennox Pierce, a Havelock toddler born with two rare genetic disorders, was given a one-percent chance to live. After he was born, he and his family immediately came to N.C. Children's Hospital, where he spent the first three months of his life. Today Lennox is defying the odds.
