Annual Teaching Faculty Retreat
This retreat is held every year to review best practices for teaching in the field of medical education and is specifically designed for School of Medicine faculty and staff who work directly with students. Sessions will cover topics related to the TEC curriculum, active learning, supporting underperforming students, and burnout prevention and treatment.

Application Cycle Opens for NIH Loan Repayment Program
In exchange for a two-year research commitment, the NIH Loan Repayment Program will repay up to $70,000 of eligible student loan debt for researchers and health professionals conducting qualifying research at domestic nonprofit or government organizations. The programs are designed to recruit and retain highly qualified health professionals into biomedical or biobehavioral research careers. The application cycle closes on Nov. 16.
