UNC Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center's Fall Fundraiser and Cornhole Tournament
Join us on Sunday, September 23rd from 12pm-4pm, for an afternoon of FUNdraising! We are raising money and collecting non-perishable food items for our CF Patient Assistance Fund and Patient Food Pantry! This fund is used for medical devices, transportation assistance, and most recently grocery assistance. We hope to raise awareness around food insecurity issues among those living with Cystic Fibrosis and support patients who have an increased caloric need but who are unable to afford meals in order to support that need.

UNC Cancer Network Medical and Surgical Oncology Lecture– Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML): Finally Making Progress?
Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online telehealth lecture with Joshua Zeidner, MD. Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) is an aggressive hematologic malignancy that affects approximately 20,000 patients each year in the United States. Management of AML has changed little over the last several decades and outcomes remain unsatisfactory. However, recent drug discoveries and approvals show tremendous promise. This presentation will review the current treatment armamentarium of AML highlighting novel concepts and investigational agents in development. Medical and Surgical Oncology lectures offer CNE, ASRT, and CME continuing education credit (upon approval) for eligible participants. We invite anyone interested to view our lectures.
