Drop-In Portrait Session for School of Medicine Faculty and UNC Health Care APPs
We will be offering a free drop-in photography session for UNC School of Medicine faculty members and UNC Health Care advanced practice providers (AuDs, CRNAs, CNMs, CNSs, CPPs, LCSWs, NPs, OTs, PTs, PAs and SLPs) only in October. Non-faculty advanced practice providers must provide direct, clinical patient care in the outpatient setting in order to be photographed.

Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Project sets November meeting dates
All persons interested in the proposed Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit Project are invited to attend four workshops held in November. The workshops are an opportunity for the public to share concerns. The proposed light rail line will run from Chapel Hill to East Durham serving UNC Hospitals and UNC, Mason Farm Road, Friday Center, Leigh Village, Patterson Place, South Square, Duke University, Duke University Medical Center, the VA Medical Center, downtown Durham and Alston Avenue/NC Central University.

Join us at the Hampton Inn in Carrboro on Feb. 4 for the Eleventh Annual Silent Auction in support of UNC Hospitals' Beacon Program. Honorary co-hosts are Brian Goldstein, MD, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UNC Hospitals, and his wife, Lisa. Categories of items this year are sports memorabilia, jewelry, getaways, home and garden, wine and dine, art, gift baskets, and a live auction. All donations are tax deductible. Auction proceeds will be used for services and programs.
