Annual $50,000 Innovation Pilot Awards Request for Proposals

The Center for Health Innovation of UNC Health Care and the UNC School of Medicine has released the request for proposal for its 2020 $50,000 Innovation Pilot Awards. All UNC School of Medicine and UNC Health Care employees from any entity are eligible to apply. Applications are due Jan. 14, 2020, and as many as four awards of up to $50,000 each will be announced in March 2020.

FastPass Offers To Be Sent During the Day Starting Oct. 16

To increase FastPass utilization and ensure any cancelled appointments are filled by patients who can use that appointment slot, patients on the waitlist for an appointment will begin receiving 'FastPass' appointment offers throughout the business day (at 8 a.m., noon, or 5 p.m.) on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Beyond the change in distribution time, FastPass is staying the same. More details here.
