MedStay is now offering a new service for hotels in the area. It's a free concierge hotel reservation service for patients and their family members. Medstay will find the right hotel for specific needs, at lower rates.

Eight Additional Clinics Now Live on myUNCHealthLink
On July 10, eight additional clinics went live on myUNCHealthLink, UNC Health Care's patient portal. myUNCHealthLink enables patients to request to schedule, cancel or reschedule appointments, to view past and future appointments, to pay their bills online and to ask questions regarding their health care.

Spanish-speaking patients can call 966-1293 to reach an interpreter. Urgent requests are handled 24 hours a day. Normal requests are handled during business hours. Please give this number to your patients.

All operating rooms are converting to Gel Head donuts as of June 27. Gel donuts are equipment used for patient positioning in order to reduce the likelihood of developing skin breakdown or pressure-related alopecia postoperatively.
