Interactive map of UNC Hospitals now available
A new interactive map of outpatient clinics and other areas frequently used by patients and visitors is now available at http://www.unchealthcare.org/site/aboutus/howtofindus/interactivemap.
Flu vaccine now available
To provide the highest possible level of protection for our patients and colleagues, flu vaccines are now available to all UNC Health Care personnel. Both inactivated (shots) and live attenuated (nasal spray) flu vaccines are available.
Remember to dial "7" to dial out
Since the end of April, you could dial either “7” or “9” to make an outside call from University and UNC Health Care landlines. Soon, however, only “7” will work.
Inpatient Perinatal Psychiatry Unit open house
The UNC Department of Psychiatry and the UNC Women’s Mood Disorders Program have opened a 5-bed unit for women with moderate to severe post-partum depression (PPD). The unit is the first of its kind in the country. You are invited to join us for an open house on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 3 - 4 p.m. on the 4th floor of the N.C. Neurosciences Hospital.

While many were tracking Hurricane Irene and her impending landfall, or preparing to hunker down amidst the bad weather, a group of UNC Health Care employees were preparing to head east.
One lane closed on Old Mason Farm Road
One lane of Old Mason Farm Road will be closed from the intersection of Fordham Blvd (15-501) east of the Ronald McDonald House between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. until Tuesday, Oct. 11.
