Flu vaccine now available

To provide the highest possible level of protection for our patients and colleagues, flu vaccines are now available to all UNC Health Care personnel. Both inactivated (shots) and live attenuated (nasal spray) flu vaccines are available.

View our Flu Vaccine webpage for all of the details about the 2011-12 flu vaccine at UNC Health Care.

All UNC Health Care employees can receive a flu vaccine any Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. in Occupational Health Services (OHS) on the 1st floor, West Wing. To receive your free flu vaccine, simply provide your ID badge and employee ID number (EID).

Flu vaccine for University faculty members are available through UNC's Department of Environmental Health and Safety. View details on the University's flu vaccine plans and a schedule of flu clinics here.

UNC School of Medicine faculty members may also receive a flu vaccine at OHS if unable to attend any of the University's flu clinics.

For added convenience, OHS also will use mobile carts to provide flu vaccines throughout UNC Hospitals. Also, in addition to "flu clinics" at most of our off-site locations, several “flu fairs” are planned at UNC Hospitals:
