Have you ever cared for a patient and wished that you understood more about their culture or ethnicity or were better able to communicate with them? This program, open to all health care team members, is provided by the UNC Health Care Nursing Professional Development, Practice and Research and UNC Hospitals Nursing Diversity Council and focuses on understanding the healthcare needs of various cultural groups.

Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and the conference will begin at 8 a.m.
