A quarterly inspection and test of the fire alarm and sprinkler systems is taking place throughout the hospitals this week.

Last week, UNC Health Care completed a transaction to purchase 47.4 acres of land from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC). The property is on Hwy. 15-501 near the I-40 intersection and is located across the street from the BCBSNC headquarters building in Chapel Hill. This property includes seven office buildings containing more than 150,000 square feet of space.
