Employee Suggestions Focus on Innovations in Quality of Care and Patient Satisfaction

As part of the Cascade Learning from October’s Leadership Development learning session “Health Care Reform: Leading for the Future,” front-line staff were asked to submit innovative suggestions that would decrease costs while maintaining quality of care.

These suggestions were generated during small group discussions within areas or departments.  Ten areas within the Health Care System submitted an impressive total of 60 suggestions for consideration.  The responses to the innovative suggestions and the actions that are either underway or planned are displayed in the attached chart. Similar ideas and themes were consolidated into one action item in some instances.
