The UNC-NAACP will host an HIV/AIDS Vigil of Remembrance, in honor of those whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS in the Pit, located between Lenior Dining Hall and the Student stores on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.

Individuals who have been impacted by the virus will talk about their experiences and after their testimonials, there will be singing from acapella groups. The vigil will conclude with a candlelight ceremony and the release of red balloons in remembrance of those individuals whose lives have been taken by the virus.
