UNC Health Care, Aetna reach new multi-year agreement
We are pleased to announce that we have signed new multi-year physician and hospital agreements with Aetna, under which UNC Health Care will again be an "in-network" provider for the insurance carrier.
The contracts address all physician entities, Chatham, Rex and UNC Hospitals, and post-acute services. The effective date of the new contract, and when patients can begin accessing "in-network" services, is November 1, 2012.
