Stone has received numerous awards for her postpartum depression and women’s mental health advocacy work, and has been featured by media outlets CNN, ABC News, and others on a wide variety of parenting topics.

Recently, Stone founded Postpartum Progress Inc., a national nonprofit focused on vastly improving the support and services for women with perinatal mental illness.

Having experienced postpartum depression after the birth of her first child, Stone created the award winning, internationally recognized website Postpartum Progress to raise awareness of postpartum depression and other perinatal mental illnesses and provide a comprehensive resource for honest information and support. Postpartum Progress is now the most widely read blog in the world on postpartum depression and all other mental illnesses related to pregnancy and childbirth, reaching hundreds of thousands of women annually.
