Save the date for Annual Enrollment 2014

Annual Enrollment for the benefit year 2014 will be held Oct. 1 – 31. For the first time there will be one annual enrollment for all voluntary benefits.

Please note the following highlights for Annual Enrollment

  • Employees enrolled in The State Health Plan will be REQUIRED to act during annual enrollment. If no action is taken, employees and their covered dependents will be defaulted to the Tradition 70/30 Plan for 2014. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • There is a third health insurance option available to employees. Click here to read about the options available to employees.
  • The State Health Plan has created wellness initiatives that have direct impact on employee premiums.
  • NC Flex Vision Plan 2 is going away and there is a new Core Vision Option available
  • New dependent coverage is available under the NC Flex Life Insurance
  • YOU MUST RE-ENROLL IN THE FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS EVERY YEAR
