The Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM) is offering a two-day training on CISM Group Crisis Intervention* on Jan. 23 - 24 at the Hedrick Building.

The CISM team has opened up some seats to health care workers who are interested in attending the course and possibly joining the CISM team. If you are interested in finding out more about the training and the team, and would like to be considered for a spot in this class, please contact , RN, in the SICU and CISM Co-Chair, or , Senior Employee Relations Specialist, CISM Member/Sponsor, by phone at 919-843-3242.

*Group Crisis Intervention (Participants completing both days will be certified through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation).

Fundamentals of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) will be outlined and participants will leave with the knowledge and tools to provide several group crisis interventions, specifically demobilizations, defusings and the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD).
