More than 2,500 colleagues vaccinated during Mass Flu Vaccination Drill

Congratulations to all who participated in the Mass Flu Vaccination Drill on Oct. 7 and 8 - more than 2,500 flu vaccinations were distributed in 24 hours. Special thanks to ISD, Central Distribution, Hospital Police, Pharmacy, Volunteer Services, the School of Nursing, the School of Medicine Planning Office, Guest Services, Telecommunications, and Occupational Health Services.

UNC Hospitals' Mass Flu Vaccination Drill began at 7 a.m. on Oct. 7 and ran through 7 a.m. on Oct. 8.

The drill was a big success, with more than 2,500 vaccinations administered. The drill also demonstrated multiple emergency capabilities. Congratulations and thanks to everyone who participated. Take a look at the graphic below for a recap of the event's highlights!
