Nursing Staff - We want to hear from you May 3 - 17!

The Nursing Research and Practice Councils are inviting all nursing department employees working in a direct patient care setting and whose work hours involve shift work (i.e., outside of normal business hours) to participate in a survey examining fatigue. The purpose of the survey is to assess acute and chronic fatigue and recovery between work shifts. Survey contains 30 items and should take less than 15 minutes to complete.

2014/2015 Campus Parking Registration for Permanent Employees

Parking registration is underway through Monday, May 5, at noon for permanent UNC Hospitals' employees who wish to apply for an on-campus parking permit or a night permit, which is new for the 2014/2015 parking year. We will not be able to extend the registration past May 5 - employees failing to register by then can sign up for a waiting list at the end of August.

An update on issues with Dragon dictation

ISD is currently working with the vendor to resolve sporadic issues with Dragon not dictating properly into Epic@UNC. The workaround is to dictate into the Dragon dictation box and then "transfer text" into Epic@UNC.
