Volunteers needed to build a Habitat for Humanity home

As part of its Commitment to Communities program, UNC Health Care has agreed to sponsor the construction of a Habitat for Humanity Home in Hillsborough.

Volunteers are needed to work on the construction site and to help sell T-shirts to raise money for the house. 

The house is located at 134 Hill Street, approximately 4.3 miles from the Hillsborough Hospital campus. Volunteer opportunities are available from 8:15 a.m. to noon and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. starting Oct. 18. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals interested in volunteering for a Saturday shift may register online here:
