Because many members have not been able to view the Patient-Center Medical Home video, watching the video is no longer a required part of the Primary Care Provider (PCP) premium credit activity during the 2016 Annual Enrollment in the State Health Plan. The Children’s Hospital is steadily improving care in sepsis patients. Due to the implementation of Code Sepsis, the average time of antibiotics administration has been reduced to 38 minutes. Research has shown that administering antibiotics within the first hour of signs and symptoms improves outcomes and reduces mortality.
