ICD-10 roadshow at UNC Hospitals Sept. 14

On Sept. 14, Christian Omba, ICD-10 Program Manager, will be at the N.C. Children’s Hospital Lobby to provide information about the ICD-10 Command Center and address related questions and issues. Plan to attend and learn more about how the structure and staffing of the ICD-10 Command Center will ensure impacted areas such as Patient Access/Registration and HIM/Coding, as well as providers have the support need for a smooth transition.

Additionally, remember that ICD-10 training must be completed in LMS (Internet Explorer only) by Sept. 15, 2015. Most of you have already completed the training, which takes approximately 1.5 hours (in comparison to the 12+ hours some institutions require) to complete. Also, 1.5 hours of Category 1 CME is available after completion. For more information visit on ICD-10 training visit UNC Health Care's ICD-10 website. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact the ICD-10 team here.
