Temporary visitor restrictions on children 12 and under lifted April 25

Visitor restrictions for the N.C. Children’s Hospital and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit will end on Monday, April 25, 2016.

Although the number of circulating respiratory viruses has lessened over the previous weeks, flu and other respiratory viruses continue to circulate in the community. To protect our patients and colleagues, it is important to screen all children visitors for symptoms of a respiratory virus (e.g., cough or sore throat with fever) and exclude any guests and family members with symptoms from visiting the hospital and our clinics.
