We’ve changed our name from Writing for Caregivers to Writing for Resilience to include everyone who wants to write! Writing for Resilience is a weekly writing respite -- a time to sit quietly and write in response to prompts: poems, quotes, and stories. All are welcome!
Sepsis Simulation: 3WST to the MICU at UNC Hospitals
The Code Sepsis team and a group of simulation experts at UNC Hospitals partnered on April 12 for an educational simulation focused on sepsis recognition and treatment through nurse empowerment and hands-on practice with realistic scenarios.

Digital TV conversion at UNC Hospitals begins May 3
Beginning Tuesday, May 3, the televisions in UNC Hospitals patient rooms will be reprogrammed to begin using a digital signal. This process will provide a better picture and more channels for our patients.
Reminder from Nutrition and Food Services about Late Night Menu for Employees
The Nutrition and Food Services Department wants to remind third shift employees that in addition to Starbucks being open 24 hours a day, the patient services area also offers a late night menu to employee’s between the hours of midnight - 4 a.m.

Service Interruption in Dogwood Deck Elevators
The three main elevators at Dogwood Parking Deck will be disabled for a scheduled electrical inspection between 5 - 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3. Elevators will be secured prior to power shut down. The North East elevator will remain in operation during this inspection.
