Electronic American Heart Association Cards

Effective May 2, 2016, Advanced Life Support Programs will begin issuing only ECards to persons attending classes at our Timberlyne Training Center and will discontinue keeping paper cards in our inventory.

The American Heart Association introduced an electronic version of their course completion cards (ECards) in November of 2015. Advanced Life Support Programs began issuing ECards as an option to our students in December. ECards have been very well received by employees at UNC Medical Center and Chatham Hospital. Due to the fact that ECards cost substantially less to purchase than paper cards, effective May 2, 2016, we will begin issuing only Ecards to persons attending classes at our Timberlyne Training Center and will discontinue keeping paper cards in our inventory.

There are distinct advantages to the new Electronic AHA cards:

  • ECards can be printed in a letter size format.
  • ECards can be verified by employers or credentialing bodies via an online AHA card verification website.
  • Each ECard has a unique ID number.
  • You can reprint your ECard anytime you need to, saving you time and money since you don’t have to pay for a replacement paper card.
