Effective Tuesday, Dec. 6, the scheduling workflow will change for orders in the CV Stress, CV Echo, and CV Vascular Orderables categories (including for procedures such as Stress Test, Exercise Treadmill Test, Echocardiogram w/ Colorflow Spectral Doppler, PVL Carotid Duplex Bilateral, etc.).
On Dec. 15, 2016, outpatient providers and staff will see updates in Epic@UNC to help them better identify and manage patients at risk for falls. Inpatient users are not affected. Review the screenshots, tip sheets, and four WebEx sessions scheduled in December to help prepare for these changes at this Intranet link.
The Reporting Work Bench report "IP Patients Without Care Plan" now displays accurate information and excludes the Patient Care Overview, Falls Risk, and Pressure Ulcer Risk care plans for all patient populations since these are typically on every patient’s chart.
The 'Lunch & Learn' Care Plan webinars from November 2016 are now available in LMS. These webinars provide an overview of 'Care Plan Basics' and 'Individualizing Care Plan Goals.' A tip sheet detailing how to individualize Care Plans also is available.
