Clean In, Clean Out Golden Hand Accolades for December

Overall compliance results for December were 95.4% for inpatients and 95.6% for outpatient/procedural areas. See which areas performed best this month!

In December, inpatient areas achieved 95.4% compliance overall. 85% of the inpatient units and 90% of the job classes met the goal of at least 90% compliance. Outpatient/procedural areas achieved 95.6% compliance overall with only 62.7% of the outpatient/procedural areas and 70% of the job classes meeting the goal of at least 90% compliance. ORs achieved 88.4% compliance overall. View overall compliance results (Intranet link).

Targeted action planning is underway for areas and job classes that are having difficulty achieving 90% compliance or maintaining participation.

In December, our feedback frequency dropped from November. Feedback was provided for 50.6% (vs. 59.4% in November) of all inpatient observations, 44.8% (vs. 54% in November) of all outpatient/procedural observations, and 26.5% (vs. 45% in November) of all OR observations.
