UNC Health Care, UNC School of Medicine receive recognition for 2015 State Employees Combined Campaign contributions

On March 2, the State Employees Combined Campaign held a recognition event at the Governor's Mansion in Raleigh. Senior Executive Assistant Becky Medford represented UNC, the School of Medicine, and UNC Health Care at the event.

Medford is a member of the UNC Chancellor's Advisory Committee, which coordinates and promotes employee contributions to the campaign. At the event, Medford accepted the following recognition on behalf of UNC and UNC Health Care. Contributions from UNC SOM employees count towards the overall totals for UNC.

UNC:

  • Largest total campaign contributions
  • Fifth-highest growth in participation from 2014
  • Gold Chairman's Award recognizing the highest per capita giving level

UNC Health Care:

  • Fifth-highest total campaign contributions
