ISD is pleased to announce the launch of the SharePoint 2013 Collaboration Workspaces and MySites for all UNC Health Care entities. In an effort to enhance collaboration across UNC Health Care, ISD is centralizing services on a single platform. This new interactive platform will allow real-time document and project sharing with colleagues at individual entities and across the system. (Please note: Access to the Sharepoint platform and links in this communication will only work through the Internet Explorer browser.)

On May 18, 2016, the names for the different types of restraints in Epic@UNC will be updated to ensure the names reflect the types of violent and non-violent restraints available at each hospital.
Beginning Monday, May 16, automated appointment reminder letters to patients will be mailed 14 days prior to the scheduled appointment date. These letters were previously sent the day after the appointment was scheduled in Epic@UNC.
Effective Wednesday, May 18, 8 a.m. the Cardiac (Heart Healthy – 4 Gm Na+) at UNC REX Healthcare will be renamed in Epic@UNC. The new diet orders will be named "Cardiac (Heart Healthy Reduced Sodium)."
