The Boote/Gerritsen ICU Nursing Award is a fund to recognize the exceptional care that UNC Hospitals ICU nursing staff provide to their patients and patient families on a daily basis. On Thursday morning, May 26, the lobby connector that connects the Women’s and Neurosciences lobbies will be closed for approximately four hours so that the skylight may be replaced. The work will start at 7:30 a.m. and end at noon. The alternate route during this time will be the outside sidewalk that runs between the Women’s Hospital and Neurosciences Hospital or the back hallway. Signs with direction arrows will be placed to guide people around the work area.
The Advanced Life Support Programs will offer a Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) course on Aug. 1, 2016, from 8 a.m. until about 2 p.m.
