Komen Race for the Cure Moves to RTP

The Susan G. Komen® North Carolina Triangle to the Coast has announced that the 20th Annual Triangle Race for the Cure® will move to The Frontier in Research Triangle Park on Saturday, June 11.

This change is due to construction on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. The Frontier is located at 800 Park Offices Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709.

Once again UNC & Rex will field a team and sponsor the race day Survivor’s Pavilion. Walkers interested in joining the UNC/REX team may do so at: http://nctc.info-komen.org/site/TR?fr_id=6242&pg=informational&type=fr_informational&sid=5758.

Walkers are encouraged to wear the “Sum of Us” shirts distributed during 2015 Hospital Week or their official race day shirt provided by Komen. Participants may pick up their packets at the following locations:

• 5:30 - 8 p.m., Monday, June 6, The Streets at Southpoint, Durham
• 5:30 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, Cary Towne Center, Cary
• 5:30 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, Crabtree Valley Mall, Raleigh
• 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, June 10, The Frontier, 800 Park Offices Dr., Research Triangle Park
