On Friday, Sept. 9, the University of Washington named Brian P. Goldstein, MD, MBA, as Chief Health System Officer for UW Medicine and Vice President for Medical Affairs.

Since July 2010, Dr. Goldstein has served as UNC Hospitals’ Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that appointment, he served for eight years as UNC Hospitals’ Chief of Staff and as the UNC School of Medicine’s Executive Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs.
